I have been staring at these pictures for days now. I can’t believe how well they turned out!

I don’t typically feel beautiful in my day to day life. I’m not upset with the way I look but I don’t consistently feel fantastic either. Whenever I get photos taken, I spend hours picking each image apart and noticing all the imperfections other people may judge so I can take those out of whatever I post before anyone else can see and comment on them.
When Nicole took my pictures, I didn’t feel like I was under a microscope. For the first time I really felt beautiful in front of a camera. It was fun (and chaotic, thanks to Penny laugh) and I couldn’t stop laughing. When I got the pictures back, I didn’t have the urge to pick them apart like I usually do. They looked so good and I looked so happy, I just sat there and (again) couldn’t stop smiling.
