I’m Nicole, a horsewoman and equine photographer based in Cleveland, serving Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, and the Southeast. I know horses—and I know photographing them takes more than a camera. I know when to wait, when to move, and how to work with each horse’s personality to capture the moments that make them who they are.
And you don’t have to trailer your horse anywhere. I bring the session to you—your barn, your favorite riding spot, or a location we choose together.

How Your Horse & Rider Session Works
Depending on the experience you choose, packages may also include artwork credit to put toward something special for your home or barn. Whether you want your favorite images on your phone and social media, or want to turn them into something you can see every day, we’ll find the experience that fits you.
Personalized From the Start
Before your session, we’ll connect by phone or Zoom to talk about you, your horse, their personality, and what you’re hoping to create. We’ll plan the location, outfits, and the types of images you want.
The goal? Beautiful, meaningful artwork that captures your connection and belongs in your home, office, or barn.
Guided & Easy
Your session takes place outdoors at a location that works for you and your horse. This is our time together to capture the two of you and what makes your relationship special.
You can relax and enjoy your horse while I guide you through the session, work with their personality, and capture the connection between you.
Your Images, Your Way
Once your images are ready, we’ll meet again by Zoom for your personalized ordering appointment. We’ll look through your photographs together, choose your favorites, and decide how you’d like to enjoy them.
Whether that’s a favorite portrait as wall art for your home or barn, an album filled with your story, beautiful prints, or digital images to share.
Your session comes with options designed around how you want to enjoy your photographs. Digital images are included with every Horse & Rider package, so you’ll have beautiful, photographs to share and enjoy. I’m a horsewoman, too, so I know how much time, patience, work, and love we pour into our horses. They aren’t just horses—they’re our partners, our escape, our best friends, and a huge part of our lives.

Your session doesn’t end when I take the last photograph. Every image is carefully selected, edited, and finished with the final result in mind — whether you want beautiful digital images to share or a piece of horse and rider wall art to enjoy in your home.
01 — The Photograph
Straight out of camera
This is the original, unedited photograph exactly as it was captured during your horse and rider photography session. It’s the starting point — before color, lighting, background, and other details are refined.
02 — The Finished Portrait
Carefully edited in Photoshop
This is where the photograph becomes a finished portrait. I carefully refine color, light, details, and distractions to create an image that feels polished while still looking like you and your horse.
For certain portraits, I can also create a more artistic finish, including custom black or painterly backgrounds.
03 — The Artwork
