A Beautiful Spring Horse and Rider Session in Dayton Tennessee
Jessica and Pistol’s spring session in Dayton, Tennessee, almost got rained out, but we decided to go for it—and I’m so glad we did.

Jessica & Pistol – A Horse and Rider Session Dayton Tennessee
A Tulip Field Session That Almost Didn’t Happen
This session almost didn’t happen.
We already had to reschedule once because of weather…
and then on my way to the tulip field in Dayton it started raining again.
If you’ve ever worried about your horse not standing still, the weather not cooperating, or things not being “perfect”… you’re not alone.
There’s nothing we can’t figure out together.
So of course I’m checking the forecast in my truck, refreshing it like crazy, and it says it’s supposed to clear right when Jessica’s session starts.
At that point you just kinda go… okay, we’re doing this.
Jessica and I were in contact the whole time, just keeping each other updated and deciding to go for it.
Kind Words
….. It was fun and relaxing even with battling the weatherI enjoyed my Tulip session with my horse that Nicole did. It was fun and relaxing even with battling the weather, she made me feel comfortable and worked with the best way to pose my mare. I love every picture that she took and will be booking with her again!

The Reality of Horse & Rider Sessions (Especially in Tennessee)
This is something nobody really talks about with horse and rider sessions ….
You can plan everything perfectly—outfits, location, timing—and the weather will still do whatever it wants. And when you add a horse into the mix, rescheduling isn’t always easy either.
It can feel stressful real quick.
What happened next….
But here’s the thing… The rain stopped. The clouds softened the light & it ended up being so dang pretty. Jessica trusted the process and didn’t panic when things felt a little uncertain. Nothing forced. Nothing rushed.
Why this matters (and why my clients trust me)
Sessions don’t always go “perfectly.” Weather changes. Horses have opinions. Life just happens. But that’s exactly why I stay flexible and keep communication open the whole time.
You’re not in this alone—I’ve got you every step of the way.
I photograph horse and rider sessions across Tennessee, North Georgia, and Alabama—including Dayton, Chattanooga, Cleveland, and the surrounding areas.

Most sessions take place at your barn, your property, or a location we choose together based on the look you want for your photographs.
