HORSE, DOG & TULIPS · AMELIA’S SENIOR SESSION

Senior Photography with a Horse in a Tulip Field Amelia, Juniper, Hershey, and a Tennessee spring evening

Amelia brought the two animals that are part of her everyday life — her young gray mare Juniper and her dog Hershey — for a senior session at Lorenzen Flower Farm in Dayton, Tennessee. Add a field of tulips and golden evening light, and the whole session came together beautifully.

MEET AMELIA

Her senior session had all the right ingredients.

A horse she loves. A dog who goes everywhere with her. A field full of tulips. And a beautiful spring evening.

Amelia brought her three-year-old gray mare, Juniper, and her sweet old pup, Hershey, to Lorenzen Flower Farm for a senior session that felt relaxed, personal, and completely her.

And honestly? Juniper was a little star. Hershey was the best boy. Amelia looked right at home with both of them.

THE LOCATION
Lorenzen Flower Farm · Dayton, Tennessee

Your senior pictures should actually feel like you.

If horses have been part of your life, they belong here. If your dog is basically your shadow, bring them too. Your senior session doesn’t have to look like everyone else’s. It should look like you.

WHY BRING THEM?

Because they’re part of your story.

Senior year is about more than a cap and gown. It’s about the people, places, animals, and little pieces of life that got you here.

01 · YOUR HORSE

The horse you grew up with.

If weekends at the barn, riding lessons, shows, and barn days are a big part of your life, your horse belongs in your senior portraits.

02 · YOUR DOG

The one who is always there.

Dogs are family. If yours is part of your everyday life, there is no reason they should be left out of your senior session.

03 · YOUR STYLE

Photos that feel like you.

Dress up. Keep it simple. Bring the boots. Change outfits. We can make the session as polished, relaxed, playful, or bold as you want.

THE TULIP FIELD EXPERIENCE

Pretty location. Real personality.

Lorenzen Flower Farm gives us an incredible setting, but the photographs are still about you and your animals.

01 · GOLDEN LIGHT

The kind of light photographers wait for.

Spring light, rows of tulips, trees, and an evening session give us plenty of variety without making the experience feel rushed.

02 · YOUR HORSE

Juniper gets to be Juniper.

She was only three years old for this session, so we worked with her personality and energy instead of expecting perfection.

03 · YOUR DOG

Yes. Bring the dog.

If your dog is part of your life, I want them there. Some of the best photographs happen when everyone gets to be themselves.

04 · YOUR SENIOR YEAR

This chapter won’t look like this forever.

That’s the whole point. Your senior photographs should show who you are now — not just what you looked like in a dress.

AMELIA’S EXPERIENCE

“The shoot itself was so laid back and fun, so it was overall just a great time. I was so over the moon when she sent our gallery back.”
